These photographs picture sections of river in the Highlands of Scotland as ecological
formations within a landscape system. Each photograph is made with a field camera and
colour film printed by hand as chromogenic print. The intention of the work is to picture the living natural world beyond nature as culture, offering a way to reimagine our ecologies as different natures we are in immediate relation with and inseparable from.
