Taken from the work Ferns Entangled - a series of fragmented colour and black & white images that explores the idea of returning to a landscape that you have a particular bond with, but are no longer rooted in. Building on a dream-like, broken narrative that reflects on childhood attachments to an ancient landscape, which is then rediscovered through psychogeography and the act of writing poetry, whilst re-walking familiar terrain.

Hayden Wilde (b.1995) is a visual artist based in Devon, UK. Working with traditional analogue processes and poetry, Hayden produces work that surrounds the topics of home, psychogeography and of the rural landscape. Currently obsessed with exploring psychogeography and the fragility of memory when forming an attachment to a landscape.
