Made whilst walking across North Wales along a lost pilgrimage trail for the project Parallel Time, 2021
For Parallel Time Paul Walsh chronicles a walk across north Wales along an ancient and largely forgotten pilgrimage trail. Passing through industrial valleys, mining quarries and small fishing communities, the series consists of black and white photographs made along the trail. Touching on themes such as time and loss, the project is a personal reflection on the transient nature of things and the redemptive qualities of undertaking a solitary walk.
